How should I have my hair be for a curly cut?

Come to your appointment shampooed, conditioned, fully detangled, air dried, and NO products.

Should I wash my hair before my color appointment?

If you're past 4-5 days of washing your hair, then yes. Just don't use any oil-based products after you wash. (Unless we're doing any kind of bleaching.)

How do I schedule/cancel my appointment?

We prefer you do all scheduling through our online booking system. YOU MUST BE LOGGED INTO YOUR VAGARO ACCOUNT, but we understand if it's easier to schedule over the phone. If we missed your call, please leave a voicemail with your name, number, and what service(s) you are wanting to schedule for, and someone will get back to you within 2-3 business days. 

What is your cancellation policy?

Failing to give a 48-hour notice will result in a 50% charge of your service amount. Any no-shows will be charged 100% of the service amount. 

What forms of payment do you take?

We prefer cash, but also accept debit and credit card, Mastercard, Venmo, Cash App, Apple Pay, Zelle, and contactless payment.

Which cut should I book for, when I want to schedule a men's (curly) cut?

Our men's cut's are strictly for straight hair because the stylist will either use the clipper's or scissors over comb technique. All curly cuts must be scheduled by hair length, no matter the gender. 

What if you're fully booked and I can't get in as soon as I thought?

I respectfully ask that you don't send text messages, asking to get in sooner. If I am fully booked, you can add yourself to my waitlist as many times as you'd like! The more you add yourself to the list, the better chance you'll have at getting in. (if there are any last-minute cancellations or no-shows.) 

How do I add myself to the wait list?

You must be logged into your Vagaro account to be able to add yourself to the wait list or to do any type of scheduling.

How often do I need to come in for a haircut?

Your hair grows a 1/2 an inch per month. Depending on texture and cut, it varies. Straight hair- As early as 4-6 weeks to every 2-3 months.

Curly hair- As early as every 2-3 months but no later than 4 months. 

How often do I need to come in for a color touch up?

Depending on your color service and growth, root touch up's are typically every 4-6 weeks. Full highlights/Balayage 1-2 times per year. Partial highlights/balayage- Every 2-4 months. Gloss/toner- Every 4-8 weeks.
