Owner, Lani Freelander
My name is Lani and I have been doing hair for 13 years and opened Hair Therapy in May 2017. I have had hair cutting training at Toni&Guy, and 2 other Apprenticeships where I continued my education with hair cutting and hair color training. I specialize in textured hair, Brazilian Blowouts, and I have a special place in my heart for all colors of hair, but I have a passion for Blondes. I love the relationships that I have with all of my client's, making them feel good about themselves, and painting hair while listening to Beyonce or taking it back to any 90-00's music! The most important part of our appointment (other than the shampoo/head massage) is the consultation. This is our time where I get to know you, what your hair regimen is like at home, your hair goals, and have you communicate any wants and needs you may have. Hello! I’m so excited to join the Hair Therapy team. I’m so fortunate to have known Lani for a brief amount of time when she rented a station from me years ago. As luck would have it, I’ve now landed in her beautiful salon , that she has clearly put her heart and soul into. It has officially been 30 years since I’ve started my journey in the hair world. I still love what I do, and take great pride in my work. I have trained the last 20 years with Framesi hair color, which I use exclusively. I have had much education/experience in this line, which I am very passionate about. I specialize in reds, and formulating personalized color formulas, not only specific to reds, but warm chocolate browns, and blondes as well. I enjoy doing haircuts with lots of texture, balance, both long and short. I love to work with soft curly hair as well. Each client of mine receives a thorough consultation with each appointment. Many of my clients are like family to me, as I have seen them for many years, but I also welcome new ones if the time is right. My favorite part of my day is making clients feel beautiful, and seeing that beautiful smile when they leave. That makes me happy 🩷

Hi! My name is Hilary and I am the Salon Manager /Lani's assistant. I have been working at Hair Therapy since November, but I have been coming to the salon for services since it opened! Lani and I have been besties since freshman year of High school at good ole Central Catholic! I am a mom to two twin girls who are 2.5 years old and soon to be a boy mom coming up in November! You will see me hanging out stocking product, folding laundry, doing coffee runs, and chatting with whoever will listen! Hair Therapy is truly my home away from home and I can't emphasize enough how wonderful the stylists are and what a positive, welcoming environment they create! Say hi next time you're in!

Hiii fren! My name is Rosie and I'm a Mini Golden doodle. I was born on May 2nd, 2022. I get to come to Hair Therapy with my favorite hooman every day. This place is like my 2nd home. I love greeting people at the door and everyone here is so friendly and tells me how cute I am! It makes me so happy, I just can't hide it. If you give me belly rubs, I'll return the favor with some kisses. I love to play tug of war, anything that makes this funny, squeaky sound and sometimes my mahm tells me that she thinks I'm part cat?? I have so much fun playing games but when I'm at work, I'm on duty and I can't be running around, barking, or shred the mail all over the place like I do at home. (I freaking love paperrrrr!) I promise my mahm I'd be on my best behavior at the shop but when I'm off the clock, it's zoomies time!! I do see a lot of different hoomans that come in with curly hair just like me and that's really cool! You're in good paws, I mean hands- my mahm is really good at taking care of my curly fur daily and her clients always seem so excited after their appointment too!!
